About Us

MICHAEL DENNIS GROSS sells practical small consumer electronics for the desk and the home. The catalogue is short and stays short: portable chargers, phone docks and stands, sculptural lamps and digital scales. Each product exists because a daily routine had an itch - a phone sliding off a nightstand, a charger that has to be unplugged and re-plugged, a kitchen scale that cannot be read while a bowl is on it.

The products and how they are tested

Before anything is listed we open it, use it for a few weeks and stress the part that matters. charging modules are load-tested, stands are checked for stability with real handsets, scales are calibrated against reference weights, and lamps are inspected for even light output. Products that do not survive that process are not sold here.

Plain specifications, no hype

Listings give real numbers: capacity in mAh, load in watts, weight range and resolution for the scales, dimensions for the stands. We do not use words like "military grade" or "unbreakable" because they mean nothing and we would have to defend them.

Delivery, costs and returns

We process orders in 1-3 business days and the estimated transit time is about 15 business days. Shipping cost is estimated by distance and confirmed at checkout before payment. Damaged or faulty items should be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and a parcel that does not arrive should be reported within 7 days so we can start a carrier claim.
